Bear one another's burdens,

and thus fulfill the law of Christ. 

This is, again, the view from our front windows.  The white "clouds" are snowcapped mountains.  This is a neighbor family exercising their horses in the field.

RIGHT: Jennaya with the neighbors' cat, an outdoor cat that thinks it owns our property.  (Our cats are indoor cats.) 

FAR RIGHT: We love living where rabbits feast on our weeds each evening.  They don't bother our veggie garden; they much prefer weeds.

In our orchard we are growing  peaches, pears, apples, cherries, figs, oranges, tangerines, grapes, berries, and more.  We have put a huge amount of work into our fruit trees and vines.

ABOVE: African daisies grow well here and can compete with fluff-seeded weeds.  Our plan to

control weeds is to crowd the bad ones out by heavily seeding the good "weeds."  See next page.

Gardening, so growing fruit is a challenge they enjoy.

RIGHT:  Jonathan sorts through the soil before

planting his own vegetable garden.  This is a big treat to him because at our last house, our older boys

dominated the vegetable

garden, since they are more experienced food gardeners.  So he is delighted to have his own veggie patch.
