Bear one another's burdens, and thus fulfill the law of Christ. |

The field and the mountains change colors every day, all through the day. |

Here Joy Marie is spreading wildflower seed. She does whatever she can from her wheelchair. |
She takes the seeds from flowers that grow wild here and spreads them to replace the thorny weeds on our land. |
We brought herbs from our last house and they are thriving here. |
ABOVE: Some of our wildflowers LEFT: Jennaya waters a pine tree. Note the green mulch around the tree base. |
Trees are important here, as the sun is very intense. We bought many of our trees for $1 and $2 bareroot. They grow fast here. (See next page.) |
LEFT: Judah digs a hole for a tree. ABOVE: Two baby kingbirds chat on the arm of one of our Adirondack chairs. We have quite a few nests around our house and property. |
BELOW: Our neighbors' yard at sunset. We love the purple sky. |
Our kids really enjoy animals. Here are our rabbits, Millicent and Fwuff. |
Jonathan is fast friends with the neighbors' cat. We also have an indoor cat of our own, KittyKat (BELOW RIGHT) who has many other descriptive names…. Our indoor cat and the neighbors' many outdoor cats "take care of" all the mice in the area. |
ABOVE: this is our neighbor's horse corral. We have horses on all sides of us, and a neighbor who lets our kids ride. Our kids have always wanted to learn how to ride. And here is KittyKat (BELOW), our own indoor cat. We bought him to control the mice that flee the wheat field nearby at harvest time. |

LEFT: Jonathan with Prancer, a Morgan horse. Dancer, a thoroughbred, is standing behind Prancer. |
